Poverty Truth Leeds

I recently delivered some sessions with Poverty Truth Leeds in conjunction with Red Ladder. The task was to coincide work with The Shed Crew Stage Play, based on the book Urban Grimshaw and the Shed Crew by Bernard Hare. The images were shot by a group of people who are members of the Poverty Trust. The participants had not in the main used SLRs and DSLRs. The theme was to photograph the difference in wealth distribution within Leeds City Centre. The impetus for the session was to look at Street Photography.

This exhibition coincides with an exhibition of photographs by Walter Lewis.

The work was exhibited alongside the show at Albion Electric Warehouse, Leeds (Friday 22nd September - 1st October 2017)
