South Leeds Archers

So, this is the start of my Blog, I have been meaning to start this for a
while. Speaking to other photographers who state that a Blog is key in your
practice I need to start to create this. As with anything a blank piece of
paper is quite daunting. I aim to post at least one post per week.

So, my current project that is at the moment is untitled, is slowly coming
to a close and I am spending the next couple of weeks shooting the final
pieces. The exhibition is in partnership with Leeds Museum and is about people
in Leeds who undertake a sport that is related to the Olympic Games.

The journey of the project has been interesting and has had its ups and
downs. I initially started with no contacts and no ins to sports clubs. Through
perseverance I have made some great contacts and the photographs are working
well. Without the help of Leeds Clubs I would not have been able to complete
the project.

Last night I met up with South Leeds Archers to shoot some more images. Roy Clark (pictured) has been enthusiastic in the project and makes a great subject.
