VW Community Project Collaboration

I seem to have achieved quite a lot this week. I met with Gabrielle and
Marek at Leeds Museum to discuss the sports project a couple of weeks ago and
they are keen to show some of the Volkswagen images I have been shooting. This
is a project I really need to crack on with. I have people lined up, we just
need to meet up and take the shot.

In further to this bit of good news, I approached a company that makes and
supplies parts for old VW Campers to work together to produce a series of
images of a week in the factory. The idea is based on the book of photographs
by Peter Keetman titled Volkswagen: A Week at the Factory (1985), shot in
1953 the images highlight the work undertaken at the Wolfsburg Plant, Germany. (I borrowed the photographs from here)

I am really tempted to photograph solely on medium format monotone film, I might even dust off my 5”x4” Camera, but I really like the idea of colour using a Phase1 with an 80mm lens.

I hope that this project lasts longer than a week; but I suppose my time will be a week in total over this summer.
